VFW Post 7878 Valley Forge. Its post has met since 1967 — Kng of Prussa, PA. The charter came in the years after the Second World War and Korea, and the comrades who stayed treated the monthly meeting as a standing promise: show up, look after one another, and leave the town a little better.
People point to the post for the Memorial Day observance and for the quieter help that never makes a program — Kng of Prussa. The comrades would rather be useful than famous, which is why the hall still smells like coffee on meeting night.
The regular meeting is the second Tuesday at 7:00 PM. Anyone planning to visit should confirm the night before they come, because a funeral detail or a weather delay can move it. Between meetings the comrades stay in touch the old way: at the hall, and through the officers listed on this sample site — Kng of Prussa, PA.

What the notebook says so far
