American Legion Post 89 Madsen-Empey. Its post has met since 1959 — Minocqua, WI. By spring the hall had a Saturday of hall repairs underway. Nothing about it was complicated. The Post 89 set a date, split the jobs, and showed up. A few neighbors who are not members came for the afternoon and stayed to ask about the next meeting — Minocqua.
