American Legion Post 186 North Strand. Its post has met since 1962 — Little River, SC. Notes from the first meeting

By spring the hall had the spring scholarship underway. Nothing about it was complicated. The Post 186 set a date, split the jobs, and showed up. A few neighbors who are not members came for the afternoon and stayed to ask about the next meeting — Little River.
