A few of the things the post keeps on the calendar — Olivia, MN. These write-ups are sample stories, in the voice the post might use.
| Veteran support | Veterans | American Legion Post 186 Erickson Strom. Each year the post sets aside time for local veterans: a ride, a meal, or a quiet check-in after a hard week — Olivia, MN. |
| Community table | Community | Once a month the post sets a long table and feeds whoever comes, veterans first and neighbors welcome — Olivia, MN. |
| Honor detail | Veterans | When a local veteran is laid to rest, Post 186 sends an honor detail with the flag and a few Legionnaires who know the ceremony — Olivia, MN. |
