Memorial observance

Illustrated memorial wreath

The observance is outdoors when the weather allows, and in the hall when it does not. Detachment 554 reads the names the detachment has been given, stands for a moment of silence, and invites the town to stay for coffee — Apache Junction, AZ.

The members start planning in March. A speaker, a musician if one is free, and a wreath from the same florist they have used for years. The aim is a half hour the town can count on — Apache Junction, AZ.
