A few of the things the detachment keeps on the calendar — Raymond, NE. These write-ups are sample stories, in the voice the detachment might use.
| Community table | Community | Once a month the detachment sets a long table and feeds whoever comes, veterans first and neighbors welcome — Raymond, NE. |
| Scholarship evening | Community | Each spring the detachment awards a small scholarship and invites the family to the hall — Raymond, NE. |
| Veteran support | Veterans | Cornhusker #370. Each year the detachment sets aside time for local veterans: a ride, a meal, or a quiet check-in after a hard week — Raymond, NE. |
