Holiday drive

Illustrated books and a gold ribbon

The holiday drive starts when the weather turns. Boxes go up along the wall of the hall, and the members spend a few Saturdays sorting what the town drops off. Toys, coats, and pantry food each get a corner — Yreka, CA.

Siskiyou #936. No list of families is published. The detachment works with a local pantry and a school office, delivers what it can, and keeps the rest for the quiet weeks of January when the need does not stop.
