Veteran support

The veteran support work is not a single event. It is the habit of noticing. Someone in the detachment hears that a local veteran is stuck at home, and the members find a ride to an appointment or a hot meal that week — ME.

The Department keeps the help practical. No speeches, and no public list of who was helped. The point is that a veteran can ask the detachment and get an answer from people who have worn the same uniform — ME.
